Unsual for this venue, last year the Monaco Grand Prix had torential rain throughout, which Lewis Hamilton just thrived in, securing victory. The Nightlife in Monaco, as you can imagine, is fantastic. There are the casinos, clubs and vast array of high quality restaurants to try. Alternatively if you are staying in Nice, a walk along the Promenade des Anglais is just fabulous with its own charm, there is an old town, large array of restaurants and bars to try and also some great shopping. Even though this might be booked as your 'once in a lifetime' Grand Prix, you are guaranteed to want to come back for more!
